Liking this build and love the mudguard solution.

I built up a cdf last year with 650b. One problem I've encountered is handlebar vibration/wheel shimmy. Mines built with a 58cm frame and carbon fork. Any ideas how to rectify this. I can stop it once it starts by leaning a leg on the cross tube but it would be good to stop it happening in the first place.

Brief blast this afternoon through the cobbled streets of Wapping, initial impressions of 650b (x 42c) are super comfy and when giving it a squirt don't feel sluggish either. Most probably was running too high a pressure but certainly felt I was floating over the bumps more than ever before. I was worried the gearing would be too high and wouldn't have the range I was after from the medium-reach rear mech, but was a lot better than I expected. Really I need to take this on a hilly ride but first impressions are encouraging. Looking forward to many adventures to come.

might be expensive, but seems to handle the transition from the arms a bit better. might just be my thing with the shimano ufo chainsets and regular rings tho..

edit: and i think the black ring goes well with the build, especially with the rd having a black cage
