I got those details from the guy that I bought it off...
I think that he asked for info on another forum, and they came back with:
The frame is from 86/87 and its an AA-super champion mondial.
Tubing is 531(C?).
He also said 'When they repainted the frame they probably changed the construction as well.' Which seems a bit cryptic.I think you're right re: the panto'd seat lug: http://jvs.webklik.nl/page/gazelle
I'm going to look into things a bit more.. but if it is a custom build / team frame, and/or had extra work done, then I imagine that it'll be a tricky one to work out.

Nice/subbed. Are you sure from 86/87? I have an AA special from (i think) '88. When I was doing some poking around I thought that the panto'd seat lug was from 89 onwards.
