  • I'm sure this has been discussed before. but what's the go-to mudguard flap material or choice? I've got an old 65mm chromoplastic I can cut up, but I've a feeling it'll be too stiff.

  • Id give it a try, stiff can be a good thing as my Raw flap has occasionally been overwhelmed and pushed outof the way by water when riding through puddles.

  • I'd try to use an old tyre if it was me. It should curve nicely.

  • I've been happy with a Brompton one, you'll need this and this .

  • I've cut up and old A4 plastic binder. If you mount it on the inside of the mudguard, it bends a little which makes it a bt stiffer - but it can still bend out of the way of twigs etc..
