No as @Stonehedge says his foreign policy was generally very misguided. But you can't blame all the deaths in Iraq on Blair either - the U.S. would have gone in anyway and they have a much bigger military than we do. Iraq was as much about Blair being too chummy with Bush as anything else. I see worrying echos of that now in our hand-holding PM and her U.S. equivalent.

I don't think you can look at the Iraq war and go, yeah, it was just one mistake.... 66000 Civilians died ! that being said if we had had a tory government at the time they wouldn't have done anything differently, faint praise is damming and all that.
