  • Bought a pair of the Pro Team Softshell Gloves in black in XL. Wore them on my way in to work today and unfortunately they're too small for my ridiculously large hands. Does anyone want to trade them for 6 bottles of craft beer?

  • Where are you based? I tried on the large just before Christmas and they were to short in just one of the fingers and they didn't have an XL in the shop at the time to try.

  • @robadob Could well be interested thanks

  • @robadob
so much want! would you send 'em?
    Cheers

  • trade them for 6 bottles of craft beer?

    Greene King 'Craft' or Cloudwater?

  • it's been 18days now since my parcel to be refunded reached rapha.. apparently it's hectic out there but c'mon..

  • Call them.

Same for me recently, waited over two weeks for a refund. Was apparently 'scheduled' and done there and then.

  • I just got my exchange notification today. Returned the item over 2 weeks ago.

  • i've mailed them an gotten an answer so i'm not worried, just stupidly slow refunding however stormed they are..

  • IMHO you do not pay that kind of money for crap service.........

  • For seasoned sale vultures it's pretty much expected tbh-no hefty discount without an equivalent dip in service. With all the buy-five-see-what-fits tarts the inventory must be a nightmare.

  • Got these off robadob last night, thing is I reckon a large would be a better bet, anyone want to trade XL for L?

  • ^^^ two weeks for a refund is OK in my books, but when it creeps up to four weeks do you bother to contact or keep waiting in the hope that the nice but pricey item has not gone AWOL in the post? A simple 'parcel received' email or update in the online account would be nice.

  • Looking at how stock on the archive sale page has gone up and down there must be an insane amount of returns going on. OTOH I agree a quick email to say 'we've received your returns parcel' would be nice.

  • Looking to try out my new pttj....is it much warmer than a gabba?

  • ^ I'd say around the same. Just IMO a better fit and finer cut all round, though I do kind of miss the drop tail of the Gabba..

  • yes, totally different things. Gabba is a less warmer version (?) of the PT Softshell.

  • ^cool, thanks

  • ^^ odd, I'd say that they're about the same in terms of warmth. Gabba + base layer or PTTJ + base layer on cold days have been all I needed.

  • No but I'll give you 6 craft beers for them :)

  • Rapha, nice but a bit pricey, but also bad quality...

My Lightweight bibs have started falling apart after three rides. Maybe I am just unlucky who knows. I am mostly annoyed because they are really really comfortable to wear...

  • Feel like that's a known issue?

  • Yeah that happened to my Lightweight bibs twice, ended up getting a refund and Pro Teams.
