• My eternal enemy* showed it's face yesterday.

    Beautiful sunny day, with several potential routes planned out the day before, ranging from 40-50 miles. Woke up at 08:30 and went straight back to bed for 3 hours. Just couldn't face getting out there. You might as well have asked me to step out into a cold, dark void.

    Ended up doing 45 minutes of intervals on the trainer in the afternoon, to shake off the shitty feeling of having wasted another day.

    I already know that I can put up with a bit of suffering on the bike. The getting out there and preparing for it is going to be the hardest part :-/

    *sorry to make it sound so melodramatic. It feels very real at the time.
