Thanks for all the t-shirt suggestions. Rapanuis ethical credentials seem pretty good in so far as what they claim on the website. T shirts arrived, they fit nicely and seem well made, I'd buy again.

Every single thing ever thought of that claims to get rid of 'toxins' is utter bullshit

Are there many dialysis diets? How many WeightWatchers points is a session on the machine worth?

Just booked some cheap flights to go stay with a pal in Switzerland in June.
He stays is Basel - I'm looking for route recommendations. I know its a while away from the proper mountain passes - with a limit of around 200km, what are the best climbs/routes I can get to from Basel?

For a shorter ride, try heading out west through Allschwill and play around on the French/Swiss border. Head over towards Kiffis south of the border, and then back just on the northern side. There are no massive climbs, but it gets up to just over 700m north of Roschenz on the 278.
For longer rides and bigger climbs you really have two choices. The first is to head north-east into Germany and into the Black Forest. Lots of good roads around Neuenweg. I think the best route in is via the L134 to Kandern, although we've got the train before up to Mullheim as it means you can get into the good roads sooner.
The alternative is to head north-west and do the Ballon d'Alsace or the Grand Ballon and Petit Ballon in the Vosges. Again, probably worth training it over there to Cernay and then riding from there as riding across the plain to the Vosges is uninspiring. @Cycliste and I did l'Alsacienne Cyclosportive last year, and I can thoroughly recommend that route - https://www.alsacienne.org/les-parcours/. The Grand Ballon is 1343m, so reasonably high.
Basically, if you go to the Vosges or the Black Forest you'll find it difficult to be on a road which isn't worth riding. The only problem is getting there, as the plain south of Mulhouse is a bit dull.

Making an itinerary for a trip I'm doing next month and I want to include a map with all the locations I want to visit marked and numbered to correspond with the list on the itinerary.
Is there any simple way to do this? I've seen a few solutions involving HTML but this seems pretty tricky. -

Where can I get one of these in 27.2mm?
Or does anyone make anything similar (I.e an elegant silver lay back) that isn't horribly expensive because it's Ti? -
• #81939
Can you not do this in google maps.?
This may be a better link now I have set the map to public!!

Have you actually used one of those type seat posts? In my experience, they only hold the saddle tilt reliably if you sit right on top of the axis, any serious nose or tail weight and they rotate out of position.

I already have one, don't like them, clamp never worked well for me.

Thanks, Didn't think to look on there, I always make a blanket assumption that everything on gumtree is stolen.
I've not tried one yet, but I thought it looked more greatful that other designs. I also assumed that they'd be cheap to try a layback.
Any other suggestions?

They are pretty, and they work fine if you don't exceed their limits. I had a steel one on my hack bike for about a decade, and replaced it with an SP-248 for purely aesthetic reasons, and the Ti one on my LoPro has been there for 25 years and will be staying. You can make them hold better with some Loctite 638 as long as you're confident about setting the saddle tilt right first time.
As you'll have noticed, there's very little available in silver these days. Ritchey Classic is nice but a bit pricey, Deda RS01 is twice the price of an SP-248 but only worth half as much :)

Where can I buy a yoga mat that isn't stupidly expensive near Piccadilly this lunchtime? Don't say SportsDirect/Lillywhites because they don't have any.
-
• #81947
Triyoga?
Cheaper mats can be really shit- poor grip etc.

Not sure how far you got with this but Revolut have just launched their current accounts. If you're already verified with them, you now have a current account with them....!
They're launching direct debits in the next couple of weeks.
