Importing counterfeit socks? That's next level...
-
• #5482
No it isn't, I bought a dozen pairs for about £15 a couple of years ago and they're every bit as good as anything I've paid full whack for. Do the math as the yanks would say....

Child slavery is fascinating, isn't it

As opposed to socks produced by happy artisans earning a good wage in Western Europe? On that basis any Orient Express purchase is morally questionable.

taken a punt. will let you know in 20-40 days

I've got these, some in orange and some in white. Really nice to be fair, got a decent about of support everywhere.
Super slippery around the house though!

Nice, thanks, will order.
@swedeee we shall discuss them then ;)
@Colin_the_Bald that's kinda what I had in mind considering importing socks being a whole new level -
• #5488
Any reason why I shouldnt buy these before I pull the trigger?
Also, 25c tyres on 25mm rims will be fine despite their insistance on using 28c's yeah?
-
• #5489
I use 25c tyres on HED rims they absolutely fine, come up 29mm. 23 would be more aero though.
-
• #5490
Hmmm, a bit worried that stretching my tyres out to 29mm might make them foul too... annoying.
23 rims with 23 tyres or? Not willing to go back to 23c but might be convinced by 23mm rims. Please show working.
-
• #5491
Actually, the tyre fouls the seatstay bridge with a 28, but only by a mm or so. Presumably wider rims would also decrease the hight of the tyre, making it fine?
-

Yes. I can measure better if you want. Obv dont have these rims but HED rims are similar dimension. I am using Corsa G+
-
• #5493
they'll work just fine. cn*carbon rims have quite thick construction therefore the inner dimensions are not quite as wide as the outer would imply
thats one reason I just bought (yesterday) new road wheels (disc, tubeless) from lb

-
• #5498
ah right! Probably a better set of rims, but I'm on a budget.

• #5499
