  • Really? whilst looking around I found the GOTY edition was only a few quid more or the same price as the regular, psn had goty for £25 which is when I snapped it up, amazing value for the amount of time I've already put into it let alone how much left there is to do. I kind of assumed due to the high level recommendation that the DLCs were for after you've done the main game, am level 20 now and 32 seems a long way off as I'm not getting much xp from side quests

    They were released after the main game, so most people would have played them after finishing the main quest.

    But..

    I believe the game feels better if the 'end' of your playthrough is the end of the main quest; Witcher 3 is the last Witcher game, and the main quest wraps up the Witcher story and decides the fait of Geralt and pretty much everyone else of note. If you then play through the DLC...well it don't feel right.

    There are other issues too, but spoilers. Plenty of discussion elsewhere online but beware of ruining the game for you.
