Yes you can (as long you adjust the derailleur to sit correctly on the one and only selected sprocket), but not advisable at all.
Major damage comes when 11 speed chain is on a 10 speed sprocket, it wears out much quicker that way.
Safer if you keep the 11speed cassette on the turbo.
