Apart from his risible comparison of the Republican party and the current Labour party. He's obsessed. Like someone who, no matter what the topic of conversation, always brings it back to how his bins are left in the road after they have been emptied.
And I think he credits Trump with too much influence. He's the vehicle, it's Bannon and the others that provide the policies. If Trump thought he could have won by being a liberal he would have stood as one.
But, yes, in general, he's right. Things are as bad as they can be.
