@Sparky Re: lights I'd go for a midrange b&m front (^^) and Topline rear. Side visibility is a big thing for B&M.
Cable routing: I'm about to try using Di2 cable strips, I'll let you know how I get on. Previously tried sugru with some success, thing is it's rather permanent (or single use). Route: I favour rear cable to go between fork crown and guard, loose section over to underside of DT, under BB, along NDS chainstay, across front of end/dropout, up rack stay or guard stay. You may find it better to route inside rack if catch will clash with cable.
