  • Absolutely. In this case it's actually the starting point while saving for the big money parts.
    I'm rarely this anal with my own bikes but Liz has serious attention to detail. Also, bare threads on a tourer is just asking to get clogged with grim never to be cleaned again. Better to treat an expensive bike well in the first place. Am cutting some m5 bolts down at work today to plug the eyelets that won't get used.
    Used 8 twizzles and nearly a whole sheet of frame stickers, could really do with a few more twizzles to be fully covered. Got a neoprene chainstay sock on its way as well.
    Still umming and ahhing about which rear rack to go with. Must be 26", not universal as high to racks make baby Jesus cry.
