Looking for any ten speed Shimano compatible chain recommendations. Considering this, unless there's anything more better instead: http://www.wiggle.co.uk/kmc-x10-93-10-speed-chain/
Or this: http://www.wiggle.co.uk/sram-pc1051-10-speed-chain-with-powerlock/

Any ideas of how to stop vinyl stickers from pealing off ?
I thought of using transparent nail polish ( will nick it from my gf) on the edges , which hopefully would stick them back to where they belong .... or am i wrong and this will just ruin the sticker ? -

There's nothing you can do, just stay away from the bell tower while they're doing it if the noise annoys you.
The best way to stop them peeling off is to stick them down properly to start with. Surface preparation is everything.

What bodge can I do to make the fastening on these shoes work again?
Used to look like the factory image here but the velcro bits have come away.

Is there anywhere I can buy the little plastic piece and screw that fixes the rear of the inner and outer cage plates together on my Super Record mech?
Furthest left part on this image.

It's not listed as a spare part on its own, the complete cage assembly is FD-SR015 but it costs more than a complete Record FD which uses the same cage.

Thanks.
Guess I might have to see if I can borrow a 3D printer or use it as justification to buy one!

I'd use the repair as an opportunity to try working with carbon fibre. I'm sure it wouldn't be too hard to lay up something functional which would be stiffer than printed plastic. Campag have ditched the plastic piece and now make that lower bridge part of the same carbon fibre part as the outer cage plate

Met Police tell me I can't pay a speeding fine until the van hire company I was using receive it.
(Hire company charge a £40 handling fee)
Does anyone know any different? I assumed it was like a parking fine, where one can ring up and pay before it gets to the hire company...

I assumed it was like a parking fine
The difference is that nobody cares who pays the fine, but the record of who was guilty is important in the speeding matter.

Moral question. On my way to work today I saw 1 homeless man take money from the collection of another homeless man who was asleep. Should I have said something?

so, sick of the shirts on the high street - they just dont fit well, all baloon up around the waist (32inch waist / slim up top)
anyone here have any suggestions - some kind of online ordering , pack of 10 quality shirts.....? -

Yes.

Email excelsiorfashion@gmail.com and ask Sonny when he's next doing a fitting tour.
He does bespoke shirts in batches for around £50 per shirt, which feels pricey but you get unique shirts...that fit, and they last, too.

Very hard to say something in that spot. Maybe swing by later and give some change to the one who was robbed?

Did it look like the suspect was based nearby? Might have an arrangement with the "victim" whereby the first to wake finds breakfast for both then wakes the other.
Not your job to work it out though, just report it. Homeless people who steal from other homeless people probably won't refrain from other acts of theft, so pursuing this case might help reduce the overall crime levels in that area.

That's exactly what my friend said and it's a suggestion I really like.
Does the sleeping man miss the money he's not aware of? Is it all fair game on the street?
Is it the equivalent of me dipping into a colleagues wallet when he goes to the toilet?
It's very easy to take the moral high ground having never experienced anything close to homelessness. That said I'd like to think there's always room for respect and compassion. Especially for someone in the same situation as you. -

Report the suspected theft to the police and the rough sleeping to Street Link.

Used Nitto jaguar stems seems to be as rare as hens teeth, and I'm not keen on the price tag of a new one. Any alternatives with similar angle and 25.4 clamp?
6703 or 4603 won't work at all, they are adapter rings to fit a third ring to otherwise double cranks. 5703 should be fine, and may even work better than the original.
