I was thinking to give a try from 32/32 to a 28/28, with H+Son, but I hold until I understand much better what you've said "Also you need to up the spoke count, use a stiffer rim e.t.c to compensate for the loss of stiffness over using race spokes."
Also, I would love to have both wheels identical, just for a aesthetically feeling. Could be radial a choice?
I made some homework lately and just a note only - I read that D-light spokes usually are for disk brakes.
About nipples, my Specialized FSR Elite (DTSwiss wheels) and gf's 29er Specialized Jett Expert (Scout wheels), both are using red nipples. I think those are alloy. Mtbs' are getting a lot of water, dirt, shocks, crashes, etc. and I was thinking that red nipples, even alloy, will be fine for a city bike too. I didn't find any brass red nipples at the moment (I found some no name brass on Aliexpress, but I would not risk to buy from there)
Thanks for advice!
