  • Awesome info. I couldn't find much about these at all.

Build is going to keep it comfy. Carbon risers with mushroom grips, 1x9 or 1x10, chunky cranks, bit of turquoise anno but that's about as far as I've got. Not well up on mtb stuff yet so I'm on a bit of a learning curve!

  • Rudy Project is an Italian manufacturer of sunglasses. Back in the nineties they wanted to add a frame to their brand and that's how Verlicchi came in the picture. Marzocchi (another Italian brand, known for their motorcycle suspension) devellopped together with Verlicchi a full suspension frameset (as shown above), that's why you didn't find Verlicchi full suspension framesets with e.g. Manitou or Rock Shox forks (not even on the all american Kona and Iron Horse bikes): they were only available as frameset with front and rear Marzocchi suspension forks. If you have a look at the top tube there should be a stamp "NV", possibly together with one saying "LARM". In the rear dropouts there's normally a stamp "Verlicchi".

  • It's got all of those stamps. The stem also has a matching nv, so I take it that probably means it belongs with the frame.
