I am very good at taking notes with a virtual keyboard, have done so for years. I can't handle my own handwritten notes, so @TomvanHalen, a Surface machine isn't going to help me in any way... Any when I say note taking, I don't mean pages of pages of minutes taking or being in a hours long lectures. I am doing my teaching at the min and all of the classes are group discussion, hence a tablet is good for taking notes and consulting Google, I think...

How do you plan on taking notes? I find them less than ideal for that purpose generally. But maybe others have a system.
