Analog film photography and cameras

My father used to use them a lot, I presume to make slide film go further. As you'd expect quality isnt as good as full frame.

tis a a bit slow for focus etc what with that little lens cover having to slide away to let you fire, but it seems like a well made bit of kit.
I ran one film of cheapo Kodak 100 through it but I've still not got round to processing it so I can't tell you anything about the results....
It's the only half-frame 35mm I've used so I don't know if the portrait/landscape reversal is the same on all halframes, or whether it's peculiar to a switchable camera but I found it a little bit of a headfuk.....
It would be ace if you could switch between full and half-frame, but even if you had a change-bag I think the little yellow lever sits behind the film - worth a check though cos that'd be quite cool.
