Just come up in my twitter feed that spike traps have been found on the trails and paths behind Caerphilly Mountain Snack Bar. Look out if you happen to be up there.

Rather incongruously the traps are thought to be placed there by Ron "moment of madness on Clapham common" Davies.

His behaviour, when it comes mountain bikers, is notorious in the area.
There are MTB loops around there called the "Ron Davies Ring," amusingly.
Every time we go to Machen and talk to locals that fucker's name comes up.
