I'm letting you know that Roberts Frames are still being made by Geoff Roberts, who worked with his Dad from the age of 14 and was around at the start of Roberts cycles.
I'm now making frames with the choice of both decals, geoff roberts or the original Roberts.
Made the traditional way as taught by his dad.
Checkout his web page http://www.geoffrobertsframes.co.uk

I'm a bit late getting on this, but here is my Roberts Racer that I commissioned in 1988 when I was 19. It is made from Columbus SLX with 75 degree parallel geometry and short rake fork blades. She has internal cable routing, fastback seat stays, vertical drop outs, Cinelli BB, vertical drop outs and fork crown. Oh yes, and a little nipple on the drive side seat tube to hang the chain on when the rear wheel is out. I still regulalrly ride her at 47! She went through a refurb in 2015 and due to financial constraints is powder coated hence the very dodgy decals. My aim in life is to get her properly resprayed by Geoff Roberts. Hope you like her

As she was originally (photo circa 1990) with chromed rear triangle and forks. Now as she was then she has DA7400 8 speed uniglide cassette and hubs, front and rear mechs and down tube shifters, DA headset and Campag Delta Record 53/42 chainset, BB, seatpost and 1st generation Delta brakes (pre aero levers - they came with a converter to redirect the cable and a little plug to fill the hole in the brake hood). The saddle is a Regal Girardi and stem is a Cinelli Record and bars are Cinelli.

Lovely indeed!

Thank you,
I live in Phoenix, Arizona. I'll be taking it to Oasis Cycles, a local who's been frame building for 25 years.

Ahh I forget there are Roberts bikes all over the globe hence the unofficial register being based in the USA.

I'm not sure how my frame came to be in the U.S. as I picked it up second hand around eight years ago. I never thought I would get it built until I found a Colin Laing tandem for a great price about two weeks ago, I'll be using that bike as an organ donor.
I just returned from the builder who had two options for fork builds. One was a twin plate Columbus affair, the other was a custom drawn Reynolds fork set for a Jack Taylor tandem. I decide to keep it all British and went with the Jack Taylor set. We will be using Campagnolo dropouts. Here's a shot of the Taylor crown

The middle cluster on the rear (stokers seat tube) is so good! Can't wait to see it built
There's a warning about it from @tomsvoboda in ebay finds.
