should she get a 2nd hand mac, or just a cheap windows laptop? She has a budget of about £300.
I looked around for a relative with similar budget a few months ago.
Sure you can get an old MacBook that will do the job just fine, if it's not bothering you / her that it's still HDD and also most probably the battery will be so run down that you can basically only use the thing plugged in.
