I thought it was OK, nothing special. It would have passed fairly unnoticed if not for the Star Wars name.
Not entirely sure what the point of it was. It didn't really add anything to the stories, it's not becoming a spin-off franchise as it leads right into the first film, none of the characters really captured the imagination to be exploited as merchandising.
It will obviously make some profits but it seems a bit of a dead-end.
