Yeah, they (Ground) closed the hove one didn't they. They have a branch in Lewes - I was there the other week and going to go in but when I eventually found it it was tiny and they only had 20 mins left til closing so I was too awkward to go in. /tooawkwardtobuyacoffeeface.
Grounds owner recently started doing their own roasting under 'Pharmacie' and I think they have maybe a cafe or something in Hove near where their old Ground branch used to be. Pharmacie roasts are actually very decent. Some really delicious filters and not too pricey.

the marwood is definitely weird but the coffee is drinkable.
cafe coho I'm not a fan of as they union beans and I think they roast too dark.
I was a big fan of the ground shop up on the edge of hove but haven't tried any of their others.
if I'm at my mum's on the other side of the main pavillion to the lanes I go to Red Roaster as it's closest but it's pretty hit and miss in there tbh and their ordering system is supremely irritating (you order and collect from the same 3 foot wide gap in the counter and there's no system for whose order is whose and as they keep serving you get pushed further away from where you get your coffee from).
