Hi, this is my first post on lfgss in a long time, but I hope you guys could possibly save me from trawling google looking for a suitable part for a bike hanging rack I'm thinking of making. I'm just getting into DIY so it's pretty basic but should work well.
We have a long but narrow corridor at the entrance to our studio, where all our bikes get piled up in a big mess. Something like this made of scaffolding pole (which I already have) I think could do the trick by hanging bikes by their front wheel off the rail like curtains, so you could push them up as necessary to fit more bikes in. There can be alot of bikes sometimes.
Does anyone have a good idea for what to use for the hooks? (As I am writing this meat hooks just popped into my head, but i've written it now... and someone might have a better idea)
EDIT: it's a low ceiling so a meat hook may hang too low
Thats basically what Rapha have at their cafes but the hooks as per your illustration would mean the bikes hanging side on. Whereas its more space efficient for them to be side on
