just use your 6.8

Hmm, the quill stem requires a 6.8mm allen key. I'm guessing that this is an imperial size?
Seems unlikely if you're talking about the Mavic one. More likely there's some distortion/corrosion/contamination stopping the usual 7mm key from going in. The regular imperial sizes are 1/4" (6.35mm) followed by 5/16" (7.94mm)

A Torx T45 might work if you can't clear it out enough to fit a 7mm Allen key, that's 6.75mm across by my measurement.

Brakeless. You've only got forest hill or college road to deal with.

Bar end lever and sorted. Cable routing may be the only issue.
In other news, I'm finally happy with my BMC. It's just a 50mm Carbon wheelset and zipp cockpit away from done but those will be in the future

With a partially glued, elderly Vittoria Pista CS on the back. What could go wrong?

Something something something bare whip skids.

I would not like to break a spoke on this kind of wheel...

Me neither. They're back to front compared to a normal wheel too. The bend at the rim and the nipple on the hub. It's kinda cool but the rim is pretty worn out so won't be using it too much longer

Hey guys, wondering if anyone could help me out to complete my upgrade, I am in need of five or so links of a 1/8 Standard Track Chain- I've just changed my rear gearing and due to the set up the chain is too short/the frame too tight. Anyone got a few links lying about that they could spot me?
Thanks

It was unlikely, I was tired and incapable of using a grown-ups measuring device, it's 7mm and I've ordered said tool.

Put on a matching rear tire and rode it some more. The geometry is bare fun, especially with the wide bars. Come spring I'll build it up with black box section rims preferably laced to DA hubs + whichever reasonably priced track cranks I'll come across. Tire wise I'll probably put on some 25cs.
