I've probably had £600 worth of time.
I imagine just me pestering them, filing the forms, them reading and transcribing them, contacting me via phone, etc... that the time, plus desks, equipment, space, etc... it's probably already hit £600 without them doing anything.
I'm resigned to that now being the case, and would still rather now focus on the insurance and new bike.
The energy I was going to expend for chasing the police has been spent, 2 police stations, several phone calls, many emails, photos of the location and suspected car, gathering of witness details and forwarding that info.
I'm going back to work tomorrow, and what energy I have now will go to the new bike.

For an incident of this nature the police have about £600 allocated to it. It's about £6000 for a fatality I think.
