I have completely destroyed my current cycling shoes so I've decided to get a pair of sidi's.
I can either get the eagle 5 in camo or the dominator 5 srs version. Which one would everyone recommend? -

can anyone recommend some good waterproof shoe-covers for dominators? where the grips on the soles can stick out of the bottom... my road shoe covers are going to get all mashed up if i keep walking around on them.

Just tried the new Sidi Shot, that's what I call cycling slippers!
The new closing system is proper smart... -

cheers @Cazakstan. Do they do MTB specific ones as well? Only things I can find online are for road shoes...

They work with both, road or MTB. I have one pair of overshoes and both types of shoes.

Thanks! Will give them a go.

Merlin appear to be the only UK shop to be doing the new Sidi Tiger's: https://www.merlincycles.com/sidi-tiger-carbon-mtb-shoes-2017-96110.html
Though... are they even available yet? Shows as in stock, but I'm sceptical.

How much?!
Generally, if Merlin say they have stock, they do.

I know, scary pricing.
But my old Sidi were already failing me, and it appears that the hit and run wiped out the click mechanism on the side (ripped off the shoe). So I've no shoes, and wanted to upgrade, and the Tiger's look nice. I'm sold.

Bikechaincafe have Drako's for £150 which isn't bad at all.

How much?!
Wow! That's quite the price tag.

In other news I've been enjoying the Sidi Diablo winter boots I bought off 'ere a few months ago. Super toasty.
-
• #1393
Yeah, but part covered by insurance as my old pair of Dragons were damaged in the hit and run.
-
• #1394
That's great. Lovely shoes no doubt.
Might get myself another pair of these special Dominators. They'll be around until the sun goes out, when my Giros only managed one season before giving out at the toebox.
-

I found them really cold- your circulation clearly trumps mine.
-
• #1396
Full fat merino socks and full length bib tights probably helping - but not a hint of foot-freeze.
That said, the coldest I've ridden them in is probably 3 deg.

• #1397
thanks for the that, ordered a pair!

I notice that they don't have them in 41- but wait! I do:

Is the winter shoes sizing the same as the summer, or are they a bit roomier? They don't seem to do them in half sizes so I need to figure out whether to go up or down.
Would anyone happen to know the stack height of Sidi Eagle 5 mtb shoes?
