Got a call at 0600 this morning to offer an AOG courier job to Munich. I will have New Year's Eve there and miss the purgatory of my dog and fireworks. Wins all round except for Mrs Savage.

We are preparing to batten down the hatches for NYE and to try to stop our little bitch from shaking with fear during the fireworks, it is not much fun as she flinches, whimpers and clings to us for scant comfort.
