Steady on. Might go other way and get a rear suzue, always fancied rocking disco hubs.
Hellas hail from Greece. Hellas means "Greece" in Greek apparently.
@apolloxl or @ObiWomKenobi can provide some info I'm sure.

Dan, I have a park adjustable length pump. It's fine but a Topeak Master Blaster would be better. Flaps are Rainy Day Biking. Did have to order them from Portland but they're really reflective. Worth it IMO. They are black from behind but highly visible under car headlights.

Noted. Just curious - quite happy with whatever SKS guards @hillbilly squeezed on for me.

So I collected my Bowman Foots Cray tonight. Purchased from this very forum. This will be my new commute bike.
Really impressed by the shapes that Bowman have managed to get the aluminium tubes into.
Not worthy of a thread of its own so will update here. Plans are to use the 6800 from another bike, 3T post and bars, PDW's from the Trek, Hope RS4 hubs and DT Swiss R460 DB rims. -

^now that's fancy. Look forward to seeing the results.
No pics today as it's in storage but I've resolved to renew my lht a bit. Built 7yrs ago by Brixton but never quite felt right with drops for me due to being a touch long. Has shit budget 25mm tyres which are trashed.
On that note I'm following the current tourer trend and have just ordered a pair of Humpert City Cruiser bars, ergo grips and cheap Dia Comp levers for a new hopefully more relaxed position. Luckily it was originally built with d/t shifters so no need to splash out on new shifters.
I really shouldn't have but also treated myself to Compass Bon Jon tyres as well...Things to do to get it ready for touring this summer:
Service v brakes and gears(upgrade to salmon pads probably)Finally cut steerer
Choose a usb charging system to go with the Schmidt hub
Pizza rack?
Anything or bikebuddy cage for trangia fuel
To fund the upgrades I'm finally gonna sell my fixie skiddah along with a bit of a TA cyclotouriste stash..

The Greeks call the country Hellas or Ellada (Greek: Ελλάς, Ελλάδα; in
polytonic: Ἑλλάς, Ἑλλάδα) and its official name is the Hellenic
Republic. In English, however, the country is usually called Greece,
which comes from Latin Graecia (as used by the Romans) and literally
means 'the land of the Greeks'.This bike was build by George Voyatzis who hails from the island of Rhodes hence the outline of the island on some of his bikes

I don't get any of this...
Why it's got shifters, how it's staying upright for the photo, the seatpost, the saddle...?
-
• #111873
Its got shifters because I had the bars and brakes with shifters already ...... bike was built on a budget . Well spotted though. May switch to aero base bars when have a few spare pennies
As for staying upright .... it lives in the recess by the fire when its not out on the road -
• #111874
Fixed with an oval ring; I've seen it before, but that must be interesting to ride or not?
-
• #111875
bike was built on a budget.
So is everything, this one looks like the money went to the wrong places.
