Yeah I'm going to do my second playthrough (1st on hd) and reconsider, it sound like it deals with all the suspension of disbelief breaking moments that happen, running behind a box and hiding for 30 secs 'oh well guess he's disappeared' which were a double edged sword as I used to rely on these mechanics in a desperate situation but obviously the immersion was broken which is a shame in such an amazing game
Totally agree. Some games it doesn't break the immersion - I don't mind it on more lighthearted games - but life or death games really need AI to be as hard as the world they live in, otherwise the atmosphere breaks.
I've heard the hospital has only one checkpoint right at the beginning though, I think I will have to buy a few extra controllers to backup the ones that will inevitably get rage thrown at the wall
