I ran a few games that either had a benchmark option or let you show the FPS in the corner.

That's the FPS of the steam, not an indication of what you're actually getting on the TV.

Hmm, could well be. Not sure how you'd test the end FPS then.

I've not seen any noticeable speed changes. I am on a wired network with a decent router though.
