  • bravo, fantastic stuff.

Also thanks for making the thread only just over a month old. It's nice to see something this good develop so quickly!

I'd be interested to know how those almanzo tyres are on road once you've had a chance to test them out.

  • Looks great!

Shall we do a Xmas ride on it?

  • Would love to... workin between xmas and new year tho!!
    Willy Warmer!

  • Boxing day!

  • That look pretty awesome, need massive mudflap tho.

  • Jen is working on xmas day, so we are having xmas on Boxing Day... :(

  • What mudguards are they?

  • wet feet and dirty chainset >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

  • Subtle. Very nice. Not that I expected anything else.

  • really great, as nearly every talbot

but: i always don't like the skinny wishbone stay

  • I wasn't keen at first, but it's really grown on me, and has become Matt's signature style. It's all subjective though, innit!

It's actually a really good solution to the clearance for multiple wheel size and mudguard clearance problem, as Matt bends them to the required shape for each bike.... saves a fair bit of weight over traditional style stays too.

  • DUDE!

The photo of the mudguard, rims, tyres and rear stay is the one. Pwoppa nawty bike this m8

  • Enve GRD integrated fork/guard combo on the front, and Swarf cycles carbon guard painted to match on the rear with painted Velo Orange stays and custom minimal spacers that Matt machined to keep it all low key.
I really wanted to keep the guards as invisible as possible on this build, and I think we got them looking pretty low key! Matt did a great job with the spacers to get the guard to line up with the gum wall section on the rear tyre.

  • tempted by this exact wheel & tyre combo - bitex hubs on light bicycle rims right?

  • Wow! Looks like an amazing ride. Love the mudguards, they match great! I agree with Scoble, needs a front mudflap at least. Couldn't you hide the junction box somewhere?
