First ever race* for me today. A 5 mile XC course in the local woods. Started at the back of the group due to a navigational faux pas on the way there; finished not quite at the back of the group. So much mud. I think the trainers will need to go through with the wash to remove the not so faint fetid dyke water pong. A good way to start a Sunday morning though. 2 more to go in January and February.
