Hey Oliver, did you go in the end? I went at 11am and a we stayed for over three hours. I got some of Mouse's Favourite Cheese and Sgaia's vegan meat to take home for Xmas, drank lots of mulled cider, mulled wine; and had a risotto ball burger, xmas sandwich (vegan charcuterie, cranberry sauce, mayo and smoked provonole), vegamisu and cheeze fries!

I did, although very late and I had seen kl's warning but went all the same. I managed to have some samples, including some delicious new cheese from Essential Vegan. I normally put 'cheese' in quote marks, but this seemed like 'proper' cheese from Neni's description, aged for at least a month while fermenting. They had, of course, sold out, and he said the next batch would only become available in late January because it takes so long to make! As I said, it was extremely tasty. I also talked to the guy from Mouse's Favourite. They're based in Fulham. All of these little artisanal enterprises were of course completely overwhelmed by the pent-up demand they encountered--it was a roaring success by all accounts and there must surely be potential for someone to organise a vegan market more regularly. FGV said nobody else but him did it at the moment.
This happening tomorrow at Hackney Downs Studios:

I'll go for a bit.
(I have no idea why it's illustrated with an image of a lush seashore.)
