Can imagine going into my local for my own for 2000 pints of beer all the time ... with my own tap, logo and glass... while everyone else thinks I'm a massive cunt... good work Meantime! Didn't they sell out a few years ago to Heineken or something?

Christ, I'd at least expect a human based on my DNA for that much.

I'll sell you some genuine human DNA for £24.9k, bargain.

They were bought by SAB Miller who have sold them this year as part of the AB InBev takeover to Asahi I think.

That's you, the person who ordered you unfortunately died of a gastro-intestinal incident caused by the beer.

Thanks for this. Just had an Omission Pale Ale and it was excellent.
As an observation, the growth in the craft beer industry has been a godsend for coeliacs. Previously I had a choice of 2 or 3 beers that were hard to track down, now I have a choice of literally dozens of beers. Tis ace.

Any suggestions for online places to order a mixed crate of beer to be delivered before Christmas, either pre made up ones or ones where I select myself. Preferably without an extortionate delivery charge. Cheers

Spresso didn't get snapped up like Tropigamma, so I picked up a can yesterday... enjoying now.
Also got a bottle of "Dark Matter". It doesn't tell me much else except bbe 2117. A keeper to forget about at the back of the cupboard with the Rasputin I guess.

Mike at Chorlton told me to hide the Dark Matter and forget about it for a while so yeah good idea to shove it to the back of the cupboard
Spent my loyalty points for the year at Hop Burns and Black on Marble's Sister Agnes (old ale with morello cherries and brett). Going to hide that one away too.

Nice one, will lose it for a few years then. Think I need to do a lost beer audit, it's a deep cupboard and there's a few back there now.

In other news took my partner to Magpie & Crown Brentford, on Sat, she was v.impressed. Best bit is that it is just a normal pub selling v.good beers, no hype.
I had Black Sunshine & DIPA v6, both great. The landlord gets alot of mcr beers in. Tried the Siren Red Chilli Ale, tasty but could have drunk a half even.

Siren Red Chilli Ale
Is that the 5-Alarm? I've tried a bottle of that, I feared it would be chilli in a gimmicky way but I actually really liked it.

Got round to drinking the Põhjala Must Kuld the other night. One of the nicest strong porters I've had, very decadent. Bit much for Kate, but I'm definitely going to acquire more of it.
My DNA profile is "BEER" anyway. #pointless
