@dammit - could it be as simple as air in the fluid? doesn't explain other symptoms though.
Other car stuff.... My A3 1.8 TFSI seems to use 1.5ltr of oil per 1000 klms. And the DSG feels like it's slipping in sport mode after a few full throttle gear changes. Normal or $$$$ to be spent?
Really should have stuck to my guns and got a real manual.
