  • Several reasons I guess. I mean, in five years time maybe I will regret it, but the current thru axle standards at the rear are too wide for road Q factors and if it ever was a problem at the front, then you know, forks are easy enough to change.

    Main reason for me though is that if I ever fucked a thru axle on a long ride or something, I'm far more likely to find a QR than a thru axle. Or some shit like that.
