That looks very nice! I was really tempted to buy one but thought the tt was too long for touring with a dropbar. Do you use a short stem or have no problems with this?

And he writes about the low trail geometry, but by my calculations the
trail is about 60mm, and that isn't particularly low, is it?It is for a mountainbike!

Are you sure it's the trail and not the fork rake? A low trail fork rake is usually 60-70mm, to give a trail of 35-45mm.

But his head-angle i 70, and those big tires end up neutralizing all the rake to some extent:

Pretty tight. Few mm either side. Can't remember exactly but around 3 or 4. I've swapped the tyres to race but will be putting these back on next year

It was very grippy. Really quite unpleasant!
Out of interest. Would anyone be interested in my vagabond frame? I'm considering switching to a bombtrack hook ext. I want a lower front end

Ah, I'd need a small or medium at a push.

• #773
ah well,
Id suggest that if you are unsure, go for the bigger one. i thought id be a medium but it was tiny.
-
• #774
Potentially interested, but looking at sizes I think I'd need the XL
