  • Let me check. I'm a UK8.5 so they could be 9's

  • I tried on loads of different boots on Tuesday, the Harvesters were most comfortable for me. I had been eyeing up the Iron Rangers before going to the shop, but preferred the Harvesters on my feet.

My wife got the women's Iron Ranger boots in black. Both of us wanted the vibram sole (and the men's iron ranger only has that feature on the oxblood ones).

  • Did you do this trying on in the Soho shop?

  • I await your checking!

  • Yes, I was one of those - "can I try nearly every different style on please?" customers only to find the colour I wanted wasn't in stock, but have ordered them.

  • Might head down and be that guy too :)

  • Nobody want those shoes from me?

By the way, visited a mate at work, Timpson now stock Vibram heels and stick-a-sole, if anyone has the urge.

  • They are fantastic looking boots too... I like the thought of the vibram sole, and also want the oxblood colour, so that could work out..... But if kboy's would fit, they would suit my meagre public sector pockets better!
Where did you go to try them all? And did you find they fit true to size across the different brands? As I'm not in London, I might have to go mail order unless I take a day out to go to that there London.....

  • I went to their Soho shop. The cork nitrile soles are meant to have poor grip in wet or muddy conditions and I am moving out of London soon so wanted something that would better suited to country living hence the desire for the vibram lugged option.

  • My mate needs a pair of boots with rubber soles resoled. Quotes have all been c.£60. At that price he's thinking its almost as cheap to buy a new pair.

Does anyone know of anywhere cheaper?

  • Cork nitrile is fine on wet pavement but utter shite on wet grass/mud.

  • Uk8. They come up big though so could be worth a shot? You'd easily make the money back if you want to sell them again. Bit of a hassle though, but yours if you want em

  • Where are you, and could I have a picture or two?

  • I'll take a few photos tomorrow and send over

I'm in Sweden, so postage will be a bit more than UK domestic. Need to check how much, but I'm happy to cap it at £15 and I'll pay the rest for tracked and insured

  • Also interested in photos please

  • Photos!

As you can see, they're used but in great condition. Recently re-heeled with proper vibram heels so it'll be a good while before they need any work. Comes with original box and the flannel / towel thing.

Lovely pair of boots, shame they're half a size too small for me otherwise I would've kept them.

  • @kboy, I'm also interested in the boots but will wait till @stedlocks and @branwen decide. cheers.

  • Lovely! wish they were my size.

  • i am gonna have to get some now.

    damn.

  • I think I'm turning full Aussie, I've recently developed a crush on Blundstones... Considering getting a pair for work... To pair with shorts... Help!!

  • They are indeed in great shape....if they would have been a 9, I would have them.....I think they'll be too small for me, so I'll pass thanks :0)

  • I still prefer the White's Semi Dress.
    Millions of options available too.
