The Albion is a new pub in Kingston centre. Worth a visit if you're around. Great selection led by their own "Big Smoke" beers brewed in their mother pub, the Antelope in Surbiton (also worth a visit).
The Black IPA was great and I enjoyed the creatively named Jazz Cabbage by Masons too. Here's this week's tap list:

Are they homebrew from someone you know or did you have them filled from a brewery in Wormwood?

I live next to wormwood scrubs.got hops in the garden so brewed my own. Just bottled them. They'll be good for Christmas.
You want a bottle? Be good to get a second opinion as I think they're awesome specially the wormwood dark

Probably a question for the HB thread, but did you just use your own hops for aroma, or bittering too? If both, did you guess the bittering content?
-
• #5664
Used the hops for both. Large handful at start of boil then smaller amount at 50mins then @59 mins.
1st batch was a guesstimate and wasn't bad. Bitter and fragrant enough. Upped the bitterness for batch 2 (the bottles in the picture)

This year's Fullers vintage ale is in Waitrose for £4.99

Not very vintage if it's this year's. :)

Not very vintage if it's this year's. :)
And I thought for you any beer was vintage that was brewed more than two minutes ago.

Any beer in my reach more than 2min old is a 'survivor', not sure about vintage.

Picked up a couple of cans of Marble's new black IPA and a couple of their festive(?) beers - an imperial russian stout and a bourbon barrel aged something sour. Something to try at the weekend.
DIY beer tasting at work later too, need to pick up a few bottles for that. Looking at what we've got already there's a mix of very average supermarket beer, a few festive wildcards and stuff from Buxton (popular the last few times this has run). Nothing Belgian and nothing sour so I guess I'll start there...

I got bought a bottle of vintage about five-six years ago and finally opened it last Christmas... it was pretty damn epic!

Can't remember which year it was but one sold for £500 recently. I have a 2014 stashed away.

£500 for a bottle of Fullers?
The 2006 I somehow kept for 6 or so years was shit.
