Instead of the advertised driver, I only appear to have part of another one.
The wheel dishing tool is materially different from the advertised one (the machined centre gauge is now a piece of box section) and the fabrication is "crude" to say the least (yes, that is weld).
Again, the stand is materially different from the one advertised (instead of polished tube, the horizontal spars are painted square rod) and the fabrication and finish is very poor.
But whereas the dishing tool is at least functional, the stand isn't:
the gauges are unfinished, so will damage rims;
the horizontal spars aren't (when secured) parallel to each other, so the gauge support isn't necessarily parallel to the axle;
the gauge support cannot be secured in place and is loose on the spars;
the axle holders are loose in their guides so don't keep the wheel stable;
the holes in the axle holders for the axles, aren't drilled centrally so the wheel isn't necessarily vertical in the stand, dependant upon the position of the rotation of the holders relative to each other.
So much for supporting small, independent businesses.
Eeewwwww, that is nasty welding. Makes rather a mockery of their claim of 'outstanding 'Build' quality'. Maybe that's why they have the word 'Build' in quotation marks.
Meh!
Finally got around to ordering a stand, dishing tool and nipple driver from Webbline.
