  • I have always had video/audio sync issues after a couple of minutes of content from BBC iPlayer/Youtube. I figured this was down to the PC being near to a decade old. So we got passed down a fairly new PC with an i7, 16GB RAM and an actual GPU but these videos still go out of sync after a minute or so...Adobe Flash is up to-date. Same issues with Firefox and Chrome.

I'm running a VGA > HDMI converter to display the computer on the LED TV. It takes the audio from USB, combines it with the VGA output for the HDMI input. This might be where the problem lies, but standard videos (.mkv, .avi, etc) work fine with no sync issues.

    Any ideas?

  • Buy a really cheap graphics card with HDMI (although I'm surprised that any motherboard with an i7 doesn't have a HDMI port).

Your current method is always going to be a bit crap in terms of quality.
