I had a play with it and seemed well thought out. I'm sticking with TP though as it has a couple of nice new features (annual training plan builder and workout builder) and also syncs with WKO4 which is where I go over data.
As an aside, WKO4 is really, really good and getting better by the day. Very impressed.

Yep, it's not cheap. I only mentioned it as I'm really impressed. PM on the way.

I had wko4. But it crashed a lot and was slow.
Has it improved? I might go back.

Glancing at it, other than being web-based, does it do anything Golden Cheetah doesn't?
-
• #2082
It's completely stable on my Mac.
The WKO4 power user group on FB is really good too.
-

Got a link to that group?
Maybe I'll give it another go then.

It still seems archaically slow to me. It's using 2Gb of memory!
And then just jamms up my CPU.I've got 10gig of ram, an ssd, and 2.2 i7.

That doesn't sound right at all.
I didn't bother to "upgrade" from WKO3 because it didn't seem to do much extra and I'd given up waiting anyway.

Latest build?
-
• #2088
Yup.
If I go back and try and look at old rides it just shits a brick, or try and do anything.
I imported all my data from training peaks.

It can't add either. It says I did 48,000TSS in 2015, but if I add up the monthly column it's like 30,000.

It may be an issue with the syncing with TP. I've had huge issues with that and lots of back and forth with support. We've narrowed it down to a problem with how Garmin Express imports workouts into TP and then not syncing correctly with WKO4. Apparently a fix is in the works, but it's been frustrating to say the least.
I've not had the memory drain issues you seem to be experiencing though, which seem extreme.

Ah. Yes my Garmin connect auto syncs with training peaks.
Let me know if it's fixed. Until then it's unusable for me. -

My latest training plan from Torq is on Today's Plan and I absolutely hate it.
I have to look up just about everything to get it to work, the analytics are crap, it confuses the hell out of me so I've taken to using it to tell me what I have to do and then doing everything else on training peaks.
I was able to work training peaks by using it. Todays Plan I have to look at a tutorial for everything.

Oh James :D

I'd argue that HR is a far better way to pace yourself in a cross race than using a power meter.

I gave up recorded it a while back because the strap irritates me.
I just work of PE now.
I've never raced cx, I'd just crash. So quite possibly. Though what about the constant sharp efforts, hr would lag behind.
When I race crits I work of NP. -

You can try, but you'll still be wrong.
