Finally got around to installing Forza horizon 3 on pc last night. Xbox Play Anywhere worked seamlessly.... No issues installing and it synced all my save / achievements etc.
Got it running at full ultra settings, 4k at a locked 30 fps. It runs at a steady 55-56 when unlocked but the occasional dropped frame is distracting so i prefer the lock.
Fuck it's pretty.

Go with nicer case in den option.

Looks a bit too thin folded sheet metal

HMMM... maybe.... might look at some other options... Cooltek do a couple of nice ones.

Yup. Lian Li used to do some cool stuff but they seem to have jumped the shark recently.
If I knew CAD and had loads of free time, this would be an easy problem to solve. -

Accepting 30 fps betrays your recent conversion from console. I'd take reduced resolution or settings for the higher framerate any day of the week, particularly in something as fast as FH3.
Did you get Assetto Corsa? Porsche DLC II was released yesterday and it's even better than the first one.

Mostly i'd agree with you but it's so pretty at 4k and Playground Games do such a great job at optimising the feel for 30Hz that I don't mind at all.
Project cars etc... 60fps all the way.
Haven't bought Assetto Corsa yet. I want to complete FH3, Gears 4, play at least one game of Civ VI and use VR a bit more before i buy anything else.

I loved playing Mass Effect 2 and Deus Ex Human Revolution on X-Box and just got a new PC.
Any recommendations?
ME3, of course, the new Deus Ex. Fallout maybe?RP-Shooter, lots of story, deep and detailed world. Extra points if it has Star Wars.

Fallout 4? it does have a cheeky little Blade Runner reference if you have heard of the movie.

Far Cry 3 Blood Dragon is the free Ubisoft game right now. People gushed over it. I couldn't really get into it. I stopped playing about 20 minutes in when you have to sneak around the dragons.

Nice little reference in Wolfenstein: Old Blood.

I'm very inclined to go to Battlefield 1, as it look fantastic, but I'm more of a single player than multi.

It's worth sticking with. I quit my first play-through around then, but when I revisited it I saw it though and had a good time.

I thoroughly enjoyed the soundtrack and Michael Beihn's snark.

Is that the bit when the Arnie NPC kills the Gremlin before midnight?

Steam Link & Controller bundle around half price, £39.58 for both

Should I? Should I? I mean, I could actually just chuck my current hot box of hell (4790k/970 SC) in a nicer case, move it into the office/nerd den, sell the iMac and buy a Steam Link. I may be able to get ethernet in the wall too so I can hardwire it in... should I? Should I?
