Damn this thread and your "oh look! This shit is on sale" posts.
Wolfenstein acquired. I played the original on an Apple II plus.
And Dead Space is not bad BTW

Titanfall 2 is currently on my list of games that I've started but haven't gotten into, along with Deus Ex. Have the Hitman season pass but haven't managed either of the latest episodes, to be honest I find the whole thing a bit disjointed.
Dishonored 2 on the other hand is proper good (sorry Sumo). That clockwork mansion is pretty special.
Realised buying a PS4 for Uncharted was a bit silly with so much other stuff to get through. Might make it a Xmas present.

Deus Ex: Mankind Divided?
That's another on my list. Human Revolution is one of my favourite AAA games of the past decade (aside from the infuriating lack of non-lethal options for bosses naturally).

Really not happy that I bought BF1 for £50-55 (maybe?) then the TF2/BF1 double pack is now on sale. I might have to pick up TF1 at some point.
There's a few games in the xbox sales i'm interested in (resisting at the moment) but once skyrim is on sale I'll snap that up.

Oh and I've just started another FO playthrough melee only!

Fallout 4? I'm about to give it another go... never really got in to it, any tips? I think I got bored wandering around with a shit gun then getting destroyed by 3 big flying bug things or a horde of those zombie things.

I suppose it's one of those games that's hard to get ahead for while, I'm super biased but I enjoyed it immersiby, even thought the storyline aren't up to New Vegas standard.

TF2 campaign was fun. Not quite as mega super epic as idiots on the internet led me to believe, but well paced. Just started BF1, it feels super slow in comparison.

I'm currently Fallout 4-ing.
I got lucky in that the big legendary dinosaur thing in the first town fell in a hole and couldn't get out, so I was able to kill it easily.
Flying things though are a massive PITA and are always killing me - VATS is the only way, but I can never make it work properly. Laser guns are good too. -

Wolfenstein is waiting for me (bought it in the last Steam sale), along with The Old Blood.

Glad im not the only one... I'm going to restart soon, maybe I didn't like the way my character looked either, designed her with the wife and we tried to make her look "hot" but I think she just ended up looking annoying, which is ironically how things often pan out in real life I find...

I thought everyone just tried to make their character look as close to Bill Murray as possible.

I've missed a trick right there...

I really enjoyed fallout 4.
Just try to focus on a few things not being a master of everything. Flying things are annoying but focus on vats or sneak. Sneaking will give you a 2x damage bonus.
Also always have a follower - they will 9 times out of 10 soak up the damage for you.
My first and only gameplay (just finished) was mainly around pistols and sniper rifles.
The playthrough I have just started I am aiming to be melee only so far I have a tire iron and a lot of balls charging into a big group. The first big hurdle will be trying to fight off a deathclaw. On second thoughts I might have to avoid them for a while.

How on earth do you/would you deal with 3 of those zombie things using only melee? Do folks actually use the suits much? I have one and keep it safe in my lock up as I am too worried about losing it...

You'd be surprised with the right perks. Although I haven't got very far yet so this playthrough could be interesting. I think I'll spend a lot of time leveling up before I actually tackle the bulk of the main story.
By zombies do you mean the ghouls? They are OK if you find it difficult put on VATS and aim for their legs, most of the time you'll cripple them and laugh hilariously as they chase you around crawling.

lol physical media

while xbox marketplace continues to charge a £30-40 premium to not get the physical media it still has its place.
-
• #16247
maybe, but I'm happy to pay a small premium to not have to rummage in the box of boxes for the right disc and swap em over. Which, now I've typed it out, is awful. Jesus.

Hitman No Subtitle is running at around 15fps on my SP2, bugger.
Looking forward to having a desktop!

That's not awful at all. I always buy digital over physical media. All my digital games on the console no boxes to clutter up shelves.
Although that titanfall 2 for £20 sounds good. But with game sharing it'll be cheaper for me to buy digital.

Kimbo Slice was the inspiration for my last char
Yeah, or the finance option with Novatech...
