@dancing james did actually consider this. Lovely group, but think the cable routing (outside of tape) would keep me up at night, even if there's less resistance.

@Heldring you joke but it'll be all over radavist soon. Seriously though think I'll just plump for a Shimano XT M772 (9sp) rear derailleur with 10 speed shifters/cassette. Can always go the ShiftMate/clutch route should I be that dissatisfied with offroad performance.
