Cheap(ish) aliexpress wheels arrived just 7 days since order
Have to dig out some tyres & tubes. Find a saddle. Cut many things. Level many things.

What are your impressions of the cinelli experience frame? what size of frame is it and your height if you dont mind me asking.
-

Haven't ridden it yet so hard to say really. There's nothing that really stands out, it looks well finished. It's the largest frame size and I'm 6'3"/192cm, I think the top of saddle-to-bb center distance in that pic is around 83-84cm.

Cinelli make some * great looking bikes, but without having ridden one I can't help but think that they're expensive for what they are.
*experience, zydeco and nemo tig spring to mind.

That is reasonable, yes.

You can usually get last year experiences from quite a few webshops surprisingly cheaply. I also had one last year, stiff as fuck was the first impression and later on the reason i sold it. Good for fvll lycra roadie blasting, not so good if you wanna stay all day on saddle comfortably...

Yeah, expensive for sure which is why I've never been keen on most of their frames. But as said above the experience is often on sale. Mine is the 'speciale' version (better fork) and was very reasonable on sale from a store in Italy

Stiff is alway the first thing I hear. A priori I'm OK with that, I've already got comfortable bikes. So with this I'm aiming for something hopefully good on fast rides and in the hills but without breaking the bank

Ebay or? I sold a set of them a few weeks ago on there...

For that it'll be perfect

Sad photo, but it is winter so new mudguards have been fitted (although front need some tweaking). Also trying out Schwalbe One 25s and a Fizik Aliante.

Norwegian classifieds :) 25% import vat makes second hand from abroad less attractive.

Quite stiff when inflating the tyres at godly-o-pressure, but pretty comfortable (but then again, a Vigorelli is a very comfortable frame at 70psi).

What seller did you buy from on aliexpress?

This is looking rad, I'll be stopping by for a test ride if I'm ever in Poland!

Already looking much nicer with new wheels and stem. Still long way from being finished, but I have decided the frame is a keeper.
