IGH are great but they have a few downsides. They can be heavy and you can normally feel some gears are less efficient than others, but they are great.
Depends what you want to do with it really... -
Think we're a similar height - provisional dibs the nature boy if you go for the "buy something else" option :)

Derailleur adapter will be less hassle with a puncture than a hub gear regardless.

I have an All City Nature Boy disc. I want to run it with gears. Whats my options?
-I've never tried an IGH, but reading about them doesn't fill me with confidence..
