Ok, can't upload a picture. Someone really fucked the lock nut up on my wheel, has anyone had any joy with the removal tools?

That type if you get a 12 point 18mm socket they are just tight enough to bang over the outside and grip it enough to remove it, provided it hasn't been overtightened.
If you can get a helper to bang the end of the breaker bar with a hammer to shock the bolt as you are undoing it it can help.
