Thanks!
I have build a few other frames, but so far this one is my favorite.
Next, a new fatbike. -

Thanks!
You're right about the paint, it's lame. I had big plans for the paint but went for the simple powder coat finish just for the durability.

Lovely bike. Almost every Finn I know of can weld and fabricate with incredible ability. Good stuff.

Looks nice :) Sram chainrings on rotor crankset do surprisingly well together!
Plans for rack and bags/ intended use?

Seems the place to ask..
I'm looking for a road bike that will take 28c tyres, Disc or rim brakes (not too fussy) and must take fenders. I've got to get a bike that I can commute on (20miles each way) and then also do all day outings on, and faster group rides as well. I can only afford and only have space for one bike at the moment. I do like to ride fast, and I do like a reasonably aggressive position (not all out racing though, but slow dawdling isn't my thing at all)
I think the Specialized Diverge fits the bill pretty well not sure what else is out there that fits the brief -

Genesis Datum

3 spec levels to choose from, all look sick.
Even has guard mounts!
Biggest selling point? NOT A SPESHALISZED

It has!

That looks solid, and that's running 32's in the pictures as well with space for the fenders still, I'm not very heavy so I think even 28s will be plenty cushy enough for me

I've got some rotor no qs to go on there as for some reason the shimano chain doesn't shift too well on the sram rings. Intended use is riding long distances and carrying some stuff, light touring/audax and commuting. The roads down here in Devon get a bit brown in the winter. I've been thinking about a rando bag that I may get Mr bigXtop to make and potentially a top half frame bag.

I bought the bike/frame ages ago. It's Reynolds 931, very similar to a Croix De Fer, but tighter clearances and a slack head angle. Surly Straggler 700c Fork.
Stans Arch Rims, Alpkit Juice Front, XT Rear.
105 5700 Shifters, 6700 Short Cage Rear with 10t Jockeys, 12-32 Sunrace Cassette, 46/34 TA Rings, Shimano Generic Cranks, Speedplay Frogs.
Surly 24 Pack
Gilles Berthoud 26" 50mm Guards.
Compass Babyshoe Pass
SV14A inner tubes.
Son Edelux Front, B&M Rear Lamp.
Thomson finishing kit. King Headset.
Generic bars and a Regal Seat.
Think thats about it.Need to speak to Big X Top for a custom bag, or an ILE Porteur.

Oh shit, it's yours! incredible work, I think I spent a solid 20mins looking through those 3 pages. Rack is bang on point.
Fair do's on the paint though; I guess I built a bias towards it after seeing how much work went into it.
